Often searching rare chains, offering unique or fancy designs, finished or unfinished, with a range of each lengths available. Even if it is “just” one you are after, from 0.6 mm gauge up to your bespoke requirements. If it doesn’t exists or had not been done before we will engineer it for you with one of our reliable partners.

Jan’s story
Long before the idea for deutsche craft surfaced, Jan had been introduced to the jewellery industry in 2003, during an apprenticeship as administrator for Catherine Jones Jewellery in Cambridge. After 6 month of working in the family business and its great team, he went back to Germany to broaden his horizon in working for another very unique company, a book wholesaler interlinked between publishers and bookstores. Another industry, but similar caution needed in handling goods (here books) with utmost care.
The idea was born, years later matching those experiences was the seed to found deutsche craft. Jan’s passion in offering unique logistic services as a framework, where attention to detail and striving for better, especially during challenges, found its home. Over the years, deutsche craft developed into a trusted network of experts including manufacturers, gold and silversmiths and designers, who all love what they do. With care and attention, we bring this together for you!

One of the jewellery manufacturer’s Jan partners with is Quinn. Originally founded in 1903 in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, as “Silberwarenfabrik Franz Scheurle”. It began making jewellery in the 1920s and was later renamed Quinn in the early 1970s, remaining a family-owned business now in its fourth generation.
